"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hey there! I see you've been around a few months, but since no one's yet seen fit to welcome you, I thought I should.
If you haven't discovered it yet, the FAQ link is in your right-hand menu, and you can pretty much find any info you need by using their in-site search on that page. But if you can't, there's a link on the left of that page to send a note to the HelpDesk for any problems you might have. If you think you need to speak directly to a staff member for whatever reason, there's an unofficial official listing on *stafflist Each staff member is listed there under their section of specialty. The Gallery Directors on that page are who you can send a note to about art you find to be awesome enough for the front page in the "Daily Deviation" section. Just send the suggestion to the appropriate director ("photography" for a photo, "traditional" for pencil, paint, ink, etc...)
Anyways, I hope you have enjoyed your stay so far, and continue to do so! If you're getting bored with what you see on the front page, you can click the "random deviant" and "random deviation" links at the bottom of each page to take you to some random art. Commenting around the site is the best way to get views and comments back on your own work.
